Information you provide
When you send an inquiry, the contact form asks for your full name, email address, phone number, service of interest, address, and a message about your training goals. Fields marked with an asterisk are required. Your message may include information about your dog and the help you are seeking.
We use these details to review your inquiry, contact you about your needs, discuss training options and scheduling, and send marketing follow-ups as described below. Please do not include payment-card numbers, passwords, or sensitive personal information in the message field. You can also contact us directly by phone or email.
Contact forms and HoneyBook
Our contact form is embedded from HoneyBook, our client-management service. Information submitted through the form is sent to HoneyBook and made available to Good Daweg in our account so we can manage and respond to your inquiry. The static website does not maintain a separate database of form submissions.
HoneyBook also processes information associated with use of its service, such as browser and device information. Its handling of information is described in the HoneyBook Privacy Policy. For questions about an inquiry you sent to Good Daweg, contact us using the details on this page.
Website visits and service providers
Loading a website sends technical information to the services delivering it. This can include your IP address, requested page, browser information, referring page, and the time of a request. Our website uses Webhost Python for hosting and Cloudflare for content delivery and security. These providers process request information to deliver the site and support its operation and protection. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for its practices.
Google Maps is embedded to show business and outing locations. When a map loads, your browser connects to Google, which receives information about the request. Google's practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
The service-areas page requests forecasts from the National Weather Service using fixed local coordinates, not your device's location. Loading a forecast sends a request from your browser to that provider. Links to social networks and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
Embedded forms, maps, and security services may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies. Some provider requests happen when an embed loads, before you submit a form. The HoneyBook embed includes a tracking pixel. Provider policies explain their use of these technologies.
We plan to use Google Analytics to understand website activity, and Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure advertising results. When enabled, these tools may collect information about page visits, interactions, devices, browsers, and cookie or advertising identifiers and transmit it to Google or Meta. Information collected varies by tool and configuration. Read the Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy for their practices.
You can manage cookies and site permissions through your browser. Blocking third-party content or cookies may affect the contact form or maps. You can call or email us if you prefer not to use the embedded form. Changing browser settings does not delete information you have already submitted.
Marketing follow-ups
Good Daweg uses inquiry contact information for email marketing about its training services, as well as to respond to the original inquiry. To stop marketing follow-ups, use the unsubscribe option in a marketing email or contact [email protected].
We send SMS marketing only if you opt in. Providing a phone number in an inquiry does not by itself opt you in to marketing texts, and this privacy policy is not an SMS opt-in. You may withdraw your opt-in by following the opt-out instructions in a marketing text or contacting us by email or phone.
Opting out of marketing does not cancel a booking. Communications needed to handle an active inquiry, service, or transaction may still be necessary; a marketing opt-in is separate from those communications.
Retention and privacy requests
Good Daweg retains information in HoneyBook for at least 12 months. This is a minimum retention period, not a promise that records are automatically deleted after 12 months. Contact us to ask about the retention of a specific inquiry or client record.
You can also contact [email protected] to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with your inquiry, or to raise a privacy concern. Include enough detail to identify your inquiry, but do not email identification documents or other sensitive information unless we arrange an appropriate method with you.
A request does not itself delete a HoneyBook record or copies held by service providers. Requests are subject to applicable requirements; the minimum retention period does not override rights that apply by law. For information a third party handles independently, consult that provider's policy and contact options.
Bookings and payments
The website's inquiry form is not a payment form. If you later book training or receive a payment request, review the agreement and any payment-provider notices supplied for that transaction. Do not send payment-card details through the inquiry form.
Security
No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. If you believe information sent to Good Daweg has been exposed or misused, contact us promptly by phone or email.
Cancellations
48-Hour Cancellation Policy
Good Daweg requires at least 48 hours' notice of cancellation for all services, including a Board & Train cancelled before your dog is dropped off. If less than 48 hours' notice is provided, Good Daweg reserves the right to charge up to 50% of the initial cost.
Board & Train: Cancellation After Drop-Off
If you cancel your dog's Board & Train after drop-off, all money already paid for that program is non-refundable.
Policy updates
Updates to this policy will appear on this page with a revised last-updated date. Please review it when you have questions about how the website handles information.
